DirectV DVR Disk SpaceWarning message - directv dvr
Since the percent of disk availability percent has always been, and still is listed in DVR viewing mode, this is a redundant and stupid message that only serves to delay customer program selection. It is an insult to customers intelligence to have a message telling them what they already know, and then must click on a OK button to continue viewing any other TV/DVR shows. I repeat, this is EXTREMELY annoying and just plain stupid. I contacted tech support and was told this change was made to allow for something called window swapping, and not required for normal use.
I urge and request DirecTV to reverse this change, or provide a method to deselect this message display requiring customer to select an OK button to continue viewing.
We switched from another satellite supplier prior to DirecTV, and I would hate to return to them because of my dissatisfaction with this stupid DVR program change. There are NO WORDS I CAN PUBLICALLY USE TO CONVEY MY DISSATISFACTION WITH THIS ISSUE. IT IS EXTREMELY ANNOYING AND DISRUPTIVE TO CUSTOMER VIEWING PLEASURE!
My receiver number is 032633. A response from DirecTV is requested.
