  • Directv has no e-mail support

    For some reason that defies common sense, Directv has decided not to provide any e-mail support of any kind to their customers who they call "valued" but don't step p to prove that. I just wanted to find out what the new time for the NFL broadcast was since the NFL had cancelled the original new broadcast time due to inclement weather and the person on the phone told me to go to the website.     Direct TV I thought that by FCC rules they would be required to provide the Major Networks to it's customers. I just talked to their Cust Service Dept. ABC is gone and they have no idea when a substitute for Channel 9 WUFT, will be available to me. I asked : that as one of the big three was no longer available to me would I get a reduction in my bill? I was told no way.   • Direct TV is a no from me

    Probably the worst company I have ever had to deal with when it comes to survive. it has become beyond ridiculous that I have to be on the phone with them for 2 hours on Christmas Eve because the TV just stops working randomly.   • Direct TV truck blocking my driveway!

    I have been a Direct TV subscriber for years and have always been pleased with their service. Unfortunately, this morning I found one of their repair trucks blocking part of my driveway. I needed to get my kids to school and had to drive over my grass to get out of my driveway. The plate number on the van was Z15 2291.     Directv tec support have got to be the dumbest people on earth.I talked to four people,one said they were a expert .None of them helped me at all. One told me my brand new remote must be broken.All I wanted to do was program my remote to my receiver so it would work in RF mode.   • Direct still has issues after having 3 service guys here to try & fix it????

    I started my DIRECTV service on 5-17-16, from the start I had channels that were freezing up to where I missed scenes from my shows! Also, if it sprinkled light rain showers you could not watch tv at all since the picture was gone! The pictures also faded out, and even when recording on the DVR the channels would still have issues and freeze up!   • Don't Let It Snow

    We switched from AT&T Uverse to DirecTV and SO SORRY we did. When it's working it's fine BUT we just had a light snow fall and I have to get on the roof and clear the dish.   • DIRECTV takes away half your channels

    I've recently had to switch from at&t uverse to DIRECTV. When I did they told me I would be getting all the channels I currently got with uverse for the same price. They lied. I lost about a quarter of the channels I was getting and had to upgrade to a more expensive package to get half of them back.   • No pac 12 network

    I was told years ago directv was in negotiations with pacn. Still no network. The pacn even warned you people would wanna leave your services. I refuse to go another football season with out this network. I pride myself in not missing my teams games as a die hard fan. I have had to drive across town to friends or family just to watch pac 12 network games. I find it very discriminatory, when u play other NCAA networks.     I never write reviews on anything, but my experience with DirecTV was so horrible that I feel obligated. I moved from North Carolina to Ohio and decided to try DirecTV. After installation I never had any channels. I called 3-4 times and they sent someone out twice and they never fixed it.   • Direct TV rep Zane cancelled our football package when we asked for supervisor

    We were being incorrectly billed for the NFL Ex package when we wanted basic football package. Called customer service and they were inexplicably unable to correct the error without sending me to a specialist.     We order from Direct TV a yr ago, and they told us it be this much then once we sign up for it ,and 2 yr contract was done deal.   • Will Lie about services then charge you a fee for their mistake!!!!!!!!

    I was drawn in by the promise of internet and cable. After I signed for services DIRECTV stated that they did not provide internet service in my area, I would have to go through their partner provider. Turns out their partner provider also DID NOT service my area. I was told I needed to research internet providers if I wanted internet. If I wanted to end my contract I would have to pay a $400 cancellation fee! FREE ADVICE!   • DirectTV charges to repair their boxes

    We our now into our second DirectTV replacement box. We suffer constant freezing and pixilation of recorded shows. Both times Direct TV determined that their box which they owned failed. Each time they have agreed that the only way for us to get the quality programming they promise is to replace our box. Okay. So far so good. They replace the box for free. So far so good.   • Inept Service, Poor Documentation, Customer Service Reps Lie

    Had Directv installed in November of 2014, It stopped working soon after. In December, technicians sent to house and said problem was with dish but they could not fix it because of snow and ice. After numerous other visits over next few months, they determined issue was actually inside house. Technicians changed out switches and boxes. System still could not obtain Sat 1 signals.     I had directv several years ago for almost 7 years and had a great experience. Changed jobs got a $80 discount with fios, so I switched. Recently I moved fios is not in my area so I decided to go back with directv. Worst mistake ever!     I just moved to my new home and decided to try Direct TV. Big mistake! My service has not worked since they installed it. It keeps going out. They will send a technician out but a few hours later, no service. That's why they trick you into a 2 year contract. Then they say low prices, oh no!!!     I am moving to Tampa, Florida and will be unable to afford cable T.V. I called today to talk to two people and they were unable to cancel the cancellation fee.   • Worst Customer service- property damaged

    After 8 hours of failed attempts to install service, tech drilled 4 unnecessary holes in the wall of my new house. Customer service refused to credit my account for this huge inconvenience, saying they will only pay up to $150 for the repair but I have to get estimates for and be home for the estimate and the work, missing multiple hours of work.     I opened a DIRECTV account years ago. In the past year my husband added a contract to the account, unbeknownst to me. We are divorcing and I want to change the account to his name, since he is remaining in the home. DIRECTV would not do this. I have to close my account and he needs to open his own account.     This "company" sends me Visa card redemptions in the mail and won't redeem them since I signed up with them four days ago. They told me I don't need the flier to receive the offer, yet when I called to sign up nothing like this was offered to me. They do not care.     I'm a very upset customer right due to your employee badge number 1006 charged too much to my bank account without my permission. I only told her to take out 130.00 out on my account and she took out 315.59 and I didn't authorize that amount.     I have wasted more than 3 hours on hold with DirecTV and Century Link today trying to get the NFL Sunday Ticket charge removed from my DirecTV billing. I called last month and requested the same thing but the $41.99 for NFL Sunday Ticket is on my bill which is automatically paid from my checking account through Century Link.     For 4 months I have had in issue with Directv's automated phone system. When I call in I get the questions and prompts, but when it comes to the final step the auto system forwards me to a live Cust Serv Rep, where they charge 5.00 to make a live payment. for the past 3 months, I have tried to get this issue fixed but to no avail or remedy/resolution.   • Billing Scam

    I regret changing from my cable service to Direct TV. I have been overcharged on every single bill when I was "promised a bill of $79.00 a month. They claim they are one month behind the phone company billing. Sorry, this is unprofessional and super frustrating because they lock you in a commitment.
