  • Continued issues with billing...and outrageous transfer fees...



    One week after I signed up with Direct TV I had to move to a new house, they charged me almost 200.00 for a transfer in the first week...that is ridiculous, to say the least.     I spend more time dealing with Direct TV and unprofessional customer service reps than I do watching Direct TV. We change our service to Direct TV on July 3, 2014 and started having problems with them on the day the installers came and installed it.     I'm suck with this crap for 2 years!?! We were lied to and told we wouldn't owe anything for 30 days after installation.     I made a one time payment with my credit card on my fathers account for Direct TV. Basically long story short he got really sick and ended up not even living at the home anymore. When they didn't get there money they took just about $600 off of my credit card that was on file and its not even my bill!!     I am writing to complain about my experience with DirectTV, in which i hope you are able to fix your services in the future to avoid this issue with other customers.     You guys need o pick better drivers. One of your drivers tried to run me off of the road with my 7 month old son in the car. He about smashed into the right side of my car on purpose.     I was promised by a "Donald" a wonderful package that included tv phone and internet for about $70 a month. I was then contacted about the install and verified the date for the tech to come and install it.     after weeks of my Genie shutting down the main receiver was replaced and taken away by the tech.A few weeks later I find out Direct without any notification debited my account $200 for non return of equipment.   • Ignoring fraud?????



    I was a direct tv customer for 4 years. I tried to get a lower rate but nothing was available to me so I went to another service. I received an email about a refund check being sent but was not being sent to my address but someone elses. I called direct TV and keep getting the run around. I asked for a copy of the cancelled check and was told to send a letter requesting it. I did that then get a phone call saying we don't give copies of cancelled checks.
