I sent an email to the Executives because I feel this is a major misrepresentation from DirecTV and I believe there are many more individuals that have been taken advantage of. They tell you that you get $5 back each month but to get the full $300 back you have to stay with them for 5 years (60 months). This is unfair and fraudulent. Someone needs to do something about this urgently.

I have been a customer of DirecTv for over 2 years and have decided to move away therefore I have cancelled my account. I was notified when I cancelled my account, I requested the return of my $300 deposit I put down is "Not Refundable". I was never advised of this when I was connecting my service. I was told that I would have to put a "deposit" down to get service which in my interpretation of a "Deposit" means I will get this back at the end of my contract based on that I don't default on the contract, which I have NOT!

If I was told that I would have to throw $300 away to a company that I have been paying service for approximately 32 months, I would never have agreed to it and taken my business elsewhere.

All I am asking for, is for my deposit to be returned to me as soon as possible. I have honored my contract for a minimum of 24 months and that should warrant the return of my deposit. Then I was told if I don't return your equipment I will be charged for it through the account that I used to pay my bill and I firmly stated I do not give authorization for anyone to charge anything to my bank account. How can a customer service representative of your firm state this threat?

All I am requesting is my deposit of $300 returned to me.

Direct TV charged my debit card I don't even have a account with them $885.53 sent. Please don't get services from them. They are using other card holders card that don't give authorization to withdraw funds. I'm going to police and my bank tomorrow about this
