We were supposed to have the installation guy come between 8am and noon. About 1130 we called directv and asked where the installation guy was so we could re-schedule our day to accomodate. This directv employee said he didn't know where the installation guy was but assured me he would be at my house the very same day (not knowing what time). When the installation guy arrived he informed me that they were out of the 2 (free) standard receivers i had order but, luckily (ha), he had brought 2 HD receivers and i would only have to pay a small price of $398 for them. I sent him away quickly disappointed in the fact i still had no cable and was attemptingly forced into paying $400 for satellite cable. I immediately called Dish Network after and they set me up with 2 FREE HD DVR receivers at a low price of $35 a month. If i could warn anyone of any company it would be DIRECTV they are a horrible service.
