Awful service - the slightest weather change can cause you loss of service. The satellite dish can be affected. If this happens you will be charged over $50 to have service restored.

Weather Changes: You will be charged over $50 to guard against weather changes plus a monthly fee.

Canceling Service: A credit/debit card must be put on file and $20 per month or more per month will be charged for canceling your service. This amount will be deducted from your account without your permission- this can add up to over $300 or more.

Satellite Dish: When you cancel your services the satellite dish will not be removed from your roof.
At this point - you own the satellite dish.

I ordered Direct TV bundles for tv, phone and internet. Two months later, I still have no phone and internet and am paying my old provider whole rate for those services because Direct TV keeps dropping the ball -- then they said that even after they've screwed up so royally over and over again, they would STILL charge me an early cancellation fee if I decide that I've had enough of their lack of service!!!!!!

I was transferred to a chic named Cheryl in sales who was immediately snippy with me and said, "I don't know what your problems are and I don't care to know because it's none of my business..." I asked her to repeat what she said and she was bold enough to do so! When I asked to be transferred to someone else, she hung up on me. Of course, they claim they have no way of tracking who this Cheryl is and they refuse to reimburse me for the additional expenses I've incurred with my current service provider.

Direct TV sucks. I think life was simpler when we had rabbit ears on the TV...
