The run around by customer service - DirecTV service


My DVR lost connectivity with my wi-fi. I ran through the menu and auto connect features and was unable to re-connect. So I called the number listed on the TV screen for help. First person said she would connect me to the proper person after I explained to her my problem and having given her my name, phone number and secret code. The person she connected me to was someone in billing. Then when I explained to her the problem but first had to give her my name and phone number and secret code, she said I need to talk to another person which she transferred me to. Again, name, etc. That person the sent to another person. After talking to 6 different people all of whom had a middle east accent or maybe India I got a guy that spoke American English and within about 5 minutes I was back connected to my wi-fi. Do these Indian, Arabs, etc just like to treat us differently. "Please may I haf your name" Name given. "I tank you for dat" Now that AT&T bought Directv you would think that the customer service would improve. That is what I get for thinking.
