Direct TV is terrible. Worthless customer service. Terrible reception. They actually told me to climb on my roof to take the little bit of snow off the dish - I'm a single mom - really ? Do I actually have to climb on my roof ? I had cable for 18 years with no problems .

Service regularly breaks up. They snuck in a 2 yr. contract without my knowledge. Apparently it was in the massive amount of paper work they had me sign AFTER they did the installation at 9:00 at night ! You don't see any of that in the ads or cards they send in the mail to solicit your business. I own a business, if I ever did that to a customer, they would sue me ! Don't give up your cable for Direct TV - you will be very disappointed and to add insult to injury, you'll be stuck with them for 2 years !

i called to cancell my account,, they lied and told me i was in a three year contract,,, after confirming that i was not,, i told them to turn of my service they keppt it on for a xtra week and change me,,, and then after my account was closed for over a mounth,, they double billed me for 2 wrestling ppv i bought a year earlier,, direct tv is doing illegal activities and should be investigated by the goverment
