Was excited to change from TWC to Direct TV, spent a few hours figuring this all out and on phone with TWC and Direct TV. Direct TV seemed to offer a more affordable alternative to TWC. Then right when I was about to sign up with Direct TV I was told of a $29 installation fee. I experienced a sudden feeling of dissatisfaction because I was not told about this fee until last minute and after spending some time on the phone. I spoke with a supervisor regarding a credit to the account of the $29 fee if I did sign up. He stated that I should contact customer support regarding this request. Customer support suggested submitting a dispute ticket. I am hoping to sign up with Direct TV, but hope to dispute this fee since I was not informed until last minute. By the way, I originally phoned direct TV regarding the $29.99 special, but never really got full information on that package and went to a $50 a month cable TV select. Thanks, Laura
