DIRECTV takes away half your channels

I've recently had to switch from at&t uverse to DIRECTV . When I did they told me I would be getting all the channels I currently got with uverse for the same price. They lied. I lost about a quarter of the channels I was getting and had to upgrade to a more expensive package to get half of them back. Also sometimes when you try to record something it will say it is scheduled to record but when you go to watch it after the fact it didn't record. DIRECTV frankly sucks.
