Directv billing mistake - Charged for their mistake


Directv offered me HBO for free for 3 months, then they made the mistake of giving me a bill credit on the previous month than it should have been, so their solution was to charge me that amount more thus month. I called then today to try and get it fixed and was told that even though their system made a mistake there is nothing they can do, i an dtuck with a bill that is too high and i can not afford. A good company that cares about their customers would eat that cost since it was their mistake but i guess the days of companies being customer service oriented are long gone, now it's all about the money. Guess I will just have to explain that to my children when they tell me they are hungry that week...
