I have been a customer of Directv since Januay. I signed up for the $73.99 Xtra package. Every month my bill go up,They want us as the customer to keep their contract for 2 years, but they can notgive us as the customer the price they promised in the contract. Directv have hidden fees and once you agree to the contract you are stuck for two years. if you try and cancel they bill you $400. They are a rip off, if you owe on a bill you can not call and make a payment arrangement. they do not even let you speak with anyone when you call if your bill is past due. After being with them since January, I asked to transfer my services to a different address because I am moving. i was informed that not only will I have to pay a $247.00 bill that I do not know how I owe that amount because i just paid my bill last month. i will also have to pay $232.00 for the moving fee because they are going to pay $300 and they ask can I pay the $199 plus add'l fees that will add up to $232.00. This is a rip off, no one explains to you when you first sign up with them that you will have to pay a fee if you move. The order is not being cancelled only moved. I will tell everyone not sign up[ with Directv they are a rip off. They do not care about their customers as you can see. They only care about the money they can get out of the customers. i am surprise we do not get charged for calling for technical help. or is that a hidden fee also
