Cancellation fee - DirecTV service

I am moving to Tampa, Florida and will be unable to afford cable T.V. I called today to talk to two people and they were unable to cancel the cancellation fee. When I signed up I had a full time job. I was forced to retire and cannot afford to have cable TV. I can't believe I will have to pay $260 in cancellation fees. I will be unable to pay you in one lump sum it will have to be payments which will delay me getting any TV services. I will make sure I let others know what a rip off your company is, you will be making $260 off of me because I wasn't aware I was going to have to retire.
